Emily Yiolitis studied Jurisprudence at Trinity College, University of Oxford, BA and MA. She obtained her postgraduate LLM "Legal Studies in Comparative European Law” from the European University Institute in Florence. She was a stagiaire at the European Commission and a Robert Schuman scholar in the Legal Service of the European Parliament in Luxembourg.
In Cyprus, Emily founded Aristodemou Loizides Yiolitis LLC which merged with Harneys LLC in 2010 where she continued as partner and global head of tax and regulatory till her appointment to the position of Minister of Justice and Public Order of the Republic of Cyprus in June 2020. She served as Minister for one year, until her resignation in June 2021. Today, she heads The Firm Trustees Limited as CEO. Her main areas of practice are trust, regulatory, competition, tax, corporate and commercial law.
Emily Yiolitis has repeatedly been included in the Citywealth IFC Power Women Top 100 list which “recognizes women with achievements that shape public opinion, contribute to the promotion of business excellence in their jurisdiction and consolidate the reputation of the financial services sector”. Emily is a Member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 1998 and founding member of the Cyprus branch of the "Association Internationale pour la Promotion des Femmes d’ Europe (AIPFE)” for the promotion of women’s rights. She is a founding member of STEP Cyprus and has also served as both Chairwoman and Secretary of the Cyprus branch. Emily is on the board of the Red Cross of Cyprus. She speaks Greek, English, French and Italian and Spanish.
Pinelopi graduated in 2008 from Lancaster University where she obtained her L.L.B. Thereafter, she continued her education and obtained her postgraduate LLM in European Trade and Commercial Law (with Distinction) from Durham University. Pinelopi was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2010 while being trained at a prestigious law firm in Cyprus.
Prior to joining The Firm Trustees Limited, Pinelopi worked as a Senior Legal Advisor at an international company in Cyprus where she gained strong experience in drafting and reviewing contracts, dealing with closings and contract negotiations, and handling commercial law and intellectual property law matters. Pinelopi also gained international expertise dealing with multiple legal issues in various jurisdictions worldwide.
Pinelopi in her previous employment has worked as a Senior Lawyer at a well-known corporate service provider in Limassol where she specialized in trusts. She was also an instructor at a college in Cyprus teaching Cyprus commercial law to students for five years.
Pinelopi’s main areas of practice are the establishment and administration of trusts, corporate and commercial law.
Konstantina holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leicester and a LPC combined with a Master in Business from the University of Law in Manchester. She was admitted in the Cyprus Bar Association in 2018.
Prior to joining The Firm Trustees, Konstantina worked as an advocate in a boutique law firm and as a legal advisor in a well-known service provider in the corporate and financial industry.
Whilst she also gained experience on litigation matters, Konstantina was handling commercial law matters, drafting of agreements and regulatory matters in various jurisdictions.
In her current position, Konstantina will be acting as Compliance Officer, dealing with regulatory and compliance issues within the Company.
